Phytoxil dry and oily cough syrup from Sanofi Laboratories , based on thyme, plantain and honey, this medical device indicated to relieve dry cough or oily cough when associated with an infection of the upper respiratory tract. Suitable for adults and children, it acts by mechanical action on the irritated mucosa thanks to 2 mechanisms: the first that promotes mucus hydration to facilitate physiological expectoration the second which forms a film which will protect the mucosa from contact with irritating external agents. This syrup contains a Poliflav MA complex which will act against coughs because it is composed of Plantain and Honey for muco-adhesive properties and thyme which will protect the mucous membrane.
