Relief of stomach pain , such as burning, heartburn, bloated feeling.

Stomach pain can manifest in different ways. Gastric pain can take the form of:

• stomach cramps, or abdominal cramps;
• stomach spasms, or gastric spasms;
• heartburn, or gastric burn;
• nausea;
• stomach bloating, or abdominal bloating.

This class of antacid will neutralize stomach acid.

• baking soda (NaHCO3), this preparation on sale in the form of a sachet prepared in pharmacies should not be used too much , as it can cause bloating and hypertension. A risk of "rebound", i.e. an increase in acidity over time, may be associated with this preparation.
• calcium carbonate (CaCO3), active ingredient of the drug *Rennie®, not to be used for too long, beware of the risk of hypercalcemia.

Rennie sugar-free lozenges are indicated for people with sugar intolerance, especially for diabetics.

USAGE:

RESERVED FOR ADULTS (from 15 years old).
The usual dose per 24 hours is:

• 1 to 2 tablets at the time of pain linked to acid reflux, i.e. 4 to 8 tablets of Rennie Mint.
• In case of more intense pain, the dosage may be increased, for a short period, to 12 tablets per day.

The duration of treatment is limited to 10 days.

Rennie sugar-free lozenges are taken without water, they are sucked at the first symptoms of hyperacidity. Suck 1 or 2 lozenges, repeat if necessary. For fast acid reflux relief, chew the first lozenge. A maximum dose of 8 lozenges per day should not be exceeded or maintained for more than a few days.

COMPOSITION:

Calcii carbonas 680mg, Magnesii subcarbonas ponderosus 80mg, Sorbitolum, Talcum, Solani amylum, Maydis amylum pregel, Magnesii stearas, Paraffinum liq, Aroma menthae, Natrii saccharinas pro. table. 

Precaution of use

• In case of persistence of acid reflux disorders beyond 10 days of treatment or aggravation of the disorders, an etiological search must be carried out and the action to be taken reassessed.
• Rennie should not be used for courses of more than 10 days: undesirable effects have been observed when combined with thiazide diuretics or in patients taking large quantities of milk or milk products, in particular during prolonged treatments.
• If one is led to exceed 4 to 8 tablets per day, this treatment of acid reflux should be of short duration, should not be continued after the disappearance of symptoms and should not exceed 12 tablets per day.
• This medicinal product contains 475 mg of sucrose per tablet: take this into account in the daily ration.
