Imodium lingual (lyophilisates) is an anti-diarrheal medication, it is a short-term treatment for acute temporary diarrhea . This treatment is a complement to hygienic dietetics measures. Reserved for adults and children over 15 years old. Diarrhea is a transit disorder which is characterized by loose, even watery stools, in abnormally high amounts or with an increased frequency of occurrence, on the order of several times a day. It is generally due to an infection of the intestines, food poisoning or even taking an antibiotic. Temporary diarrhea rarely lasts more than two days. Beyond two days, consulting a doctor is essential.
DOSAGE:
2 capsules in a single take, the first take (i.e. 4 mg of loperamide). If the diarrhea continues: after each unmolded bowel movement, take 1 additional capsule, but never exceed 6 capsules per day and 2 days of treatment.
If constipation occurs, administration of this medication should be discontinued promptly.
COMPOSITIONS:
Loperamide hydrochloride 2 mg
Excipients (lingual form): gelatin, aspartame (E 951), sodium bicarbonate, mannitol, mint flavor.

Acute outbreaks of ulcerative colitis
Hyper-sensitivity to one of the compounds
