Description of Femannose N D-Mannose Prevention Cystitis 14/30 Sachets

Femannose N D-Mannose is a medical device indicated for the treatment and prevention of cystitis and other bacterial urinary tract infections. This product may reduce the most common symptoms of urinary tract infections (burning during urination, frequent urinary urgency, urine with a strong odor or turbid urine, pelvic pain, etc.).

Femanosis works by preventing bacteria from attaching to the walls of the bladder to be eliminated along with the urinary flow. Bacteria already attached to the urinary wall will also be eliminated.

D-Mannose is a simple sugar that is naturally present in the body. The use of Femannose thus makes it possible to avoid taking antibiotics , which may ultimately lead to resistance.

Advice for use and dosage

For adults and children over 14 years old. Can be used in case of diabetes, pregnancy, breastfeeding.

The recommended dosage for the treatment of acute cystitis is as follows:

Prevention -> 1 sachet per day.

Treatment -> Day 1 to 3 : 3 sachets a day - Day 4 to 5 : 2 sachets a day.

To prevent recurrence of urinary tract infections in people at risk, the duration of treatment should be at least one month.

Composition

Each sachet contains: 2 g of D-mannose Excipients: sweeteners: fructose, sucralose; citric acid; coloring: beetroot red; anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide; aroma.

D-mannose is a glucose epimer that significantly inhibits the adhesion of pathogens to the urinary epithelium, thus preventing the anchoring of these microbes that would migrate into the urogenital tract despite the action of product limiting their virulence. The possibility of migration of microbes resident in the intestine into the urogenital tract is then reduced, thus making it possible to mechanically prevent any future recurrences.
