UV light is the main cause of sun damage to the skin, but High Energy Visible Light (HEVIS) can also induce free radicals that cause additional stress on the skin. Sunlight triggers an increase in melanin production which can lead to hyperpigmentation issues such as sun-related dark spots.
Eucerin SUN PIGMENT CONTROL Fluid SPF 50+ is a daily sun protection for the face, intended for all skin types, which helps prevent sun-induced hyperpigmentation. Advanced Spectral Technology combines broad-spectrum, photostable** UVA/UVB filters for very high UV protection with Licochalcone A to neutralize free radicals caused by UV and HEVIS light. The sunscreen also includes Glycyrrhetinic Acid which supports the skin's DNA repair mechanism.
The formula is also enriched with Thiamidol, an effective and patented ingredient that acts at the root of hyperpigmentation. It visibly reduces dark spots over time and, when used regularly, prevents their reappearance.

Choose a product that offers an adequate protection factor for your skin. It should protect against UVA and UVB rays and provide defense against HEVIS light. It should also be suitable for your skin type and condition.
Use the right amount
It is important to use a sufficient quantity of product and to reapply it at regular intervals.
You can use your palm to measure how much product to use. We recommend that to cover your face, neck and décolletage, you use a thick line of sunscreen that extends from the tip of your middle finger to your wrist.
