Precaution for use: before taking the pregnancy test, always carefully read the instructions that come with it. if you take the test as soon as your period is due, you can take it at any time of the day. if you take the test before the expected date of your period, use the first urine of the day. when you are ready to take the test, remove the test stick from its packaging, remove the blue cap, and use the test immediately. hold the absorbent stick pointing downwards under the stream of urine, or immerse it in a urine sample that you have stored in a clean, dry container, for only 5 seconds. the stalk immediately changes color and turns pink, thus confirming its impregnation with urine. hold that rod in the urine for the important 5 seconds hold the absorbent stick pointing down, or lay the test stick flat while waiting for the result. wait 3 minutes. blue lines appear as the test progresses. after 3 minutes, the results appear in the window provided for this purpose. a blue line should be present in the sample window when you read the result. this line confirms that the test has been carried out correctly. if this line does not appear within 10 minutes, the test has not worked. whether one of the lines forming the "+" sign is more or less dark does not matter, the result is "pregnant". the test result is readable within 10 minutes. beyond this, do not take into account any change in indication.
